Our Cats

& Other Wildlife

You cannot escape the watchful eye of Dr. Kelly.  He knows all, he sees all, and then he sleeps.  Every morning and every evening he makes security checks. Dogs had better beware - he will taunt them, chase them, jump on their backs and ride them.  He takes his job very seriously.

Kelly - the wise one.

Cisco catching some rays.

Cisco catching some rays.

Cisco enjoys life.  He is the most unstressed individual we have ever met!  His advice: lay down on your back in the sun and sleep.  He figures it will solve almost anything.

Here is Kelly supervising the office work.  Sometimes it is a huge chore, considering he has to work with us people!

Kitties.

We welcomed our kitties with open arms.

Juli and Pickles are happy to take over the office chores, as long as the heat is on.  This lets us focus on the orders and the cuttings!

Packing Helper.

Buster is the packing helper.  Buster is smart and likes to get into things.  He is eager to learn about our business and constantly follows us around.  He will throw things to get our attention and likes to rearrange the office.

Pickles stole our hearts. He is a quirky and stout little teddy bear.  He gets away with everything because he knows he can.

Pickles is waiting for a fax.

Pickles.

Pickles, lurking.

He wants to be agile like Zeke, but the broken glass from his not-so-graceful landings on the greenhouse testifies that he needs to work on it.

Zeke is sleek.  He has a mind of his own.  He isn't a bit worried about defying us.  He is our agile gentleman in a tuxedo, and we feel he adds a touch of class to the nursery.  His siblngs got adopted but he decided to stay with us.  We are glad he did!

Bashful - Where's the food?

Bashful - Where's the food?

Bashful is just that.  Upon her arrival, she was so scared she hid in the desk drawer for ten days.  Only when a customer called and we needed a pen did we find her.  By now she has gotten over most of her shyness and orders us around with ease.

Juli is our phone manager, but she hasn´t quite got it down to a fine art yet. Sometimes she walks on the disconnect button (as some of you already know). That heavy purring sound you may hear is just Juli purring into the mouthpiece.

Annie the raccoon (and her family) do grub control every night.  They work for their food.

Really Recommended Books

Beverley Nichols shares his in-depth knowledge of felines in his books: Cats' ABC and Cats' XYZ.  His attitude is one of respect and awe as he points out how easy it is to become enslaved to our regal four-legged friends

Cats' ABC.

Cisco with Cats' ABC.

Cats' XYZ.

Kelly with Cats' XYZ.

Mr. Nichols sees a world with only two types of people: "F" (Feline people) and "Non-F" (Non-Feline people).
These books are a must, if only to see if you are an "F" or a "Non-F". You may be surprised!
They are available from us at $19.95 + $3 shipping each. Contact Us for details.
