GENERAL INFORMATION

TRADITIONAL BENCH ROOTED CUTTINGS

Our Rooted Cuttings have large, vigorous root balls because they are grown in open benches instead of in pots.

LINERS

We offer Liners an extensive list of varieties but favorites may still be in short supply.  Plants are allocated on a First-Come, First-Served basis.  Some varieties may only be available in limited quantities.

SENDING CUTTINGS

If you want to send us your cuttings it is best to mail them between early September and late November.  Some varieties need special treatment.  Please call 1-800-RHODIES or email us before you send your cuttings.

SUBSTITUTIONS

Please list your choice of alternates on the Order Form.  If further substitutes are necessary, we will contact you before shipping your order.

PAYMENT AND SHIPPING

WHOLESALE PRICING

To receive our wholesale prices, please order at least 5 per variety for spring and fall liners and at least 25 per variety for rooted cuttings. All other quantities will be at retail prices.

ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

We will acknowledge your order after it is received.  Environmental conditions may affect the availability of our plants.  We will do our best to fill your order.

SHIPPING

Local
You choose the carrier and pay the cost of delivery.  UPS 3-day Select is generally preferred, although for small packages Priority Mail may be used. UPS Supply Chain Solutions has been economical for larger orders (100 lbs or more). UPS Ground is economical and best for shipments on the west coast (for east coast shipping, please note that UPS Ground will take up to a week). Please contact us if you would like some help in making a shipping decision.

International
We use US Mail Express to dispatch export orders worldwide but we are flexible and will meet your requirements if at all possible.  A Phytosanitary Certificate will cost $15 but there is no inspection charge.

Note to our Canadian customers: No Canadian import permit is required, but of course it is always best to check as the situation can change.

Packing charge is $5.00 per carton for local and international.

CREDIT TERMS

New Customers: we will contact you to arrange payment before dispatch. Established Customers: payment is due within 30 days of shipping. A monthly Late Charge of 1.5% of the unpaid balance will be due on late payments, Annual Rate 18%. Minimum monthly Late Charge is $1.00.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Credit Card - Visa, Mastercard
  • Chocolate! (preferably dark)
